We are delighted to support Bath Festivals through three main avenues:
We are working closely with Bike Bath and Iconic Cycling Events in their bid to encourage the local community to take part in cycling. Due to Covid-19 the annual Bike Bath event has now been replaced with a cycling challenge named Bike Bath 2020 Medal Rides. This event is self-supported and is open to all abilities providing multiple routes across Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestshire.
We are working with the Grounds Management Assoication (formerly known as the IOG) in delivering their grounds management courses by way of making our facilities and equipment available for classes and our Grounds Manager is acting in an advisory and teaching capacity to their students and staff.
The Medlock Charitable Trust, and particularly David Medlock, have provided advice and support to us as we have developed our activity. Their experience in delivering philanthropic support in Bath over many decades has been invaluable. In a new venture they have provided the seed-funding for a new out of school multi activity club that will be based at the Glasshouse site.
We are working with the Palladian Academy Trust (PAT) as a partner link to schools in the South of Bath for providing in school sports activities. PAT are committed to the enrichment of young people's learning experiences through providing life changing opportunities.
We are working with this fantastic charity in developing local networks and identifying future initiatives that support disadvantaged and vulnerable groups. The Foundation are supporting us with our Schools Hub delivery - Functional Movement Skills programme.
We recently supported St Mark's School with the redevelopment of their outdoor 3G pitch, in return they are providing local clubs, schools and organisations with use of the sports facility to give children and vulnerable adults the opportunitiy to develop their wellbeing and fitness.
We are working with Wesport developing strategic ideas and networks. Wesport has also been commissioned by us to undertake an Impact Assessment Survey during the latter half of 2020 to identify the success of our strategy over the last five years and to highlight where our future strategy will best be deployed. This report will provide independent feedback to our beneficiaries and also act as a case study for others who have shown an interest in our model of operations.
